All versions of the DuraNode Allstar Node Hardware Kits are now in stock.
Only a small number of VHF RF hats and kits are left in stock, plenty of UHF hats and kits in stock – go to the products page to check the range.
Cheers Glenn

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS – UPDATED 8.00AM AEDT 15/02/2024
Regarding updating/upgrading to Pi-Star Version 4.1.7 & 4.1.8
I’ve set up a secure server where customers – ONLY CUSTOMERS can to go to download an almost completely configured version of Pi-Star 4.2.0 for their DuraSpot or ShackSpot.
Scroll down to see how to proceed…
ShackSpot – All models.
DO NOT UPDATE PI-STAR through the Pi Star dashboard or through the ShackSpot’s Touch Screen.
ALSO… Leave your hotspot SWITCHED OFF OVERNIGHT so auto update doesn’t run.
REASON: There’s a couple of bugs with Pi Star currently.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY UPDATED TO Version 4.1.8 or your hotspot was left on overnight you may see missing data on your screen.
Your hotspot should still be working fine even if the screen isn’t.
Easy way to check is to login to your hotspot’s Pi Star dashboard and check all of your configuration is still there, and watch the Admin page.

This is definitely a software issue, your hardware will be fine.
The Pi-Star team are aware and are working on this.
Remember Pi-Star is provided by volunteers and is totally free for us to use.
What’s happening is they are working on some major changes such as the addition of the M17 mode plus they are moving towards Pi-Star version 4.2 which has a very different back end.
As these updates are rolled out there will be bugs, we just have to be patient.
Before asking for support or the link to the download please do the checks listed above as it’s quite possible that your hotspot is working, but the screen isn’t.
If your hotspot has crashed then go to MY VK4NGA Facebook page and send a message (PM), If you are in my customer database I’ll send you a link to the download site along with the password to enable access.
If you’re not on Facebook then you can contact me on my website, I do have a small backlog of customers that have already contacted me.

If your club members are interested in building AllStar nodes then I’m happy to assist with a customised “Group Buy”.
Pricing will be negotiated depending on what you are wanting to buy.
This will include assistance from me to make sure all members nodes are up and on air.
Announcing revised pricing for 2024.
Now component prices have reduced I’m able to pass the savings on.
This isn’t a new year sale, just revised pricing across my entire range.
