Hotspot/Node/Server Warranty:
The hardware warranty is 24 months from date of purchase.
NOTE: If you over-tighten the antenna/s, alter or damage the hardware or wiring, apply a soldering iron, use a faulty power source (such as a car USB port) the hardware warranty is immediately void.
Power Supply:
12 months warranty from date of purchase.
Micro SD Card:
12 months warranty from date of purchase.
Software:
The software known as Pi-Star is supplied “as is” and is open source. I simply provide a basic level of support to get you “on air”. If you alter the original configuration in any way, you risk causing the hotspot to malfunction and as such, support will be provided at a cost. ALSO if you decide to install the WPSD dashboard or full software package, I don’t support that at all, as such, support will be limited to making a replacement Micro SD card with Pi-Star which will be at a cost to you.
The software known as Hamvoip – Allstar software used in the DuraNode is supplied “as is” and is open source. I simply provide a basic level of support to get you “on air”. If you alter the original configuration in any way, you risk causing the node to malfunction and as such, support will be limited to making a replacement Micro SD card which will be at a cost to you.
Returning your Hotspot/Node for Service/Repair:
If you need to return the hotspot or node for repair/service/support the return postage will be at your cost.
If it is determined that the issue has been caused by an alteration to the original software configuration you may be asked to pay for software installation/configuration plus the postage cost to return it to you.
My products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Moreover, You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.
