I have a high power AllStar RF 2m simplex FM node which is open for local amateur operators. The node is located near Beerwah CBD. Frequency is 145.350MHz with a 91.5 CTCSS. Node Number is 547452. Hardware is a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and a R1-2023 USB interface, running Hamvoip software into a Motorola GM339 transceiver. Transceiver is running at 15 watts into a diamond X200 antenna at around 6M high.
Key up and have a chat on AllStar!
73 and enjoy the AllStar network, Cheers Glenn VK4NGA
*NOTE* You DON’T need to signup to AllStar or have a node number to use this node, simply set your radio up as above and you’re good to go.
When you PTT you’ll know if you’re getting into the node as you’ll hear it come back to you with a “Short Tone Tail”.
To check this node’s connection status DTMF *70 & the node will voice announce its status/connections to your radio.
Or Click/Tap to View the Node’s Connection Status:
GENERAL OPERATING FOR ALLSTAR NODES:
This node has IP links and other digital modes bridged you must leave breaks of around 3 seconds at the end of transmissions. That way it allows other users that may want to join the QSO enough time to jump in.
This node is not permanently connected to any other Nodes/Hubs.
Make sure you disconnect from any Hub/Node that it’s connected to before attempting to connect to another.
When finished using this node please disconnect it from all Hubs/Nodes, DTMF *76 to disconnect all nodes from this node.
Unlike other digital voice modes no data is transmitted via the network so make sure you announce your call sign – but not required every over.
NODE IDENT, COURTESY TONES and ANNOUNCEMENTS:
There are courtesy tones which mimic a repeater tail on TX/RX and connect/disconnect to nodes/hubs. This node will voice announce connections to nodes/hubs.
Also it will announce the time every hour, and the node’s ident via CW every 10 minutes.
YOU CAN CONTROL THIS NODE VIA DTMF COMMANDS FROM YOUR RADIO:
DTMF Commands List:

*3 (+node number you want to connect to) Connect to an Allstar node/hub
